Current Projects

FRR currently provides technical assistance to a range of biodiversity conservation related projects. Many of these initiatives integrate the urgent need to protect Vietnam's unique and rapidly disappearing ecological heritage with livelihood improvement and human-development goals.

Tam Dao National Park & Buffer Zone Management Project– funded by GTZ:

FRR provides technical assistance for capacity building for Protected Area management, including on-the-ground forest protection, as well as technical support for biodiversity surveys, resource-use planning etc.

Biodiversity Protection of North Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve, Latvia- funded by UNDP/GEF.

The project aims to develop and implement sustainable and integrated nature management practices for the protection of biodiversity within the Latvian reserve. FRR provides conservation planning advice to the project promoting landscape ecology approaches prioritising biodiversity conservation in the adaptive management and land use planning process.
